How to Think About Pricing Your Content as a Creator
Trendins Co Team · October 18, 2026
Pricing is one of the hardest parts of working with brands. Rates vary widely, and there is no official table. What you can do is build a consistent approach that reflects the value of your work.
Factors that affect your rate
- The time needed to plan, shoot and edit
- The number and type of deliverables
- Usage rights: where and for how long the brand can use your content
- Exclusivity: whether you are asked not to work with competitors
- Your experience and the quality of your production
- Rush deadlines or extra revision rounds
Separate creation and usage
Creating a video for your profile is different from granting a brand the right to use that video in paid ads for months. Many creators price these separately.
Create packages
Simple packages make it easier for brands to understand your offer. For example, one short video, a set of stories, or a UGC bundle delivered to the brand.
Put it in writing
Always confirm the price, payment date and deliverables in writing before you start.
Review regularly
As your skills and experience grow, revisit your rates. Keep notes on past collaborations to understand how long projects really take.
